Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki in a visit with Foreign Ministers and ambassadors from different countries attending the NAM Summit underscored the necessity of unity and rapprochement among Muslims.

Ayatollah Araki on the sideline of the 16th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Tehran visited and negotiated with senior experts, envoys and officials from Algeria, Libya, Syria, Bahrain, and Iraq talking about related rapprochement issues.

The senior cleric pointed to the common grounds stand between Iran and other Islamic countries in different cultural and religious arenas, underscoring the importance of more cooperation in the aforesaid lines.

Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought pointed to the standing challenges the Islamic World face with and spotlighted the importance and necessity of unity in such condition.

The 16th summit of NAM member states and will wrap up on August 31, 2012.
